I quadrupled this recipe to make this hearty biscuit pot pie.
Herbed Biscuits
makes 12-24, depending on size
4 Cups whole wheat flour
2 Tbs baking powder
1 tsp salt
1/2 Cup unsweetened applesauce
1 1/2 Cups unsweetened original almond milk
1 tsp dried oregano
1 dried thyme
1 tsp dried dillweed
Mix all ingredients in bowl by hand. Drop by spoonful on to baking stone and bake at 450 degrees for 12 minutes.
